我上山放羊的时候，拿着书，绑在山坡上，开始看书。我锄地休息了一会儿，就拿出《新华字典》，把一个词的各种意思背下来，一点一点滴积累起来。我并不觉得农村7年时光被荒废了，很多知识的基础是那时候打下来的。

知青，亲身经历过的人对那个时代的名字和痛苦的记忆都有难忘的感受。之所以重提这个名字，就是我看到了《中国知青史》这本书，它把我重新带回到那个不愿提起又难以忘怀的青春岁月，也让我重新认识了那场曾经猛烈震撼过中国的几乎每一个家庭，曾波及几乎所有的偏僻穷困的山乡，并瞬间改变一代青年的命运，给其身体和灵魂带来飓风般变化的当年的知识青年上山下乡运动。

作为当时几千万知青大军中的一员，无论是主动的还是被动的，主动的还是被动的，他们都不例外地献身于轰轰烈烈的上下乡运动。其中的绝大多数人充满着青春的热血，饱含着高昂的激情，要以稚嫩之躯改变一穷二白的中国，拯救三分之二还生活在水深火热中的世界劳动人民。伟人的呼唤已经形成了时代的潮流，不可排斥。

年轻干部向总书记看齐，就是要勤勉务实。梁家河的村民讲，“近平不搞形式主义，不搞那个年代时兴的学习、运动，而是立志办大事，要给群众做实实在在的事情。”村里缺地缺粮食，他就带领大家打淤地坝;村里缺水，他就带领大家挖深水井;为了方便村民缝补衣服、磨面磨粉、购买日用品和农具，他给村里办起了缝纫社、代销店、铁业社、磨坊。“只要是村民需要的，只要是他能想到的，他都去办，而且都办得轰轰烈烈。”青年习近平的务实还体现在村民都爱听他讲话。村民们都说，“近平开会和其他干部不一样，其他干部开会，讲话的时候老百姓在下边抽旱烟的、说闲话的、纳鞋底的，基本上没有人听。唯独习近平开会，讲话的时候大家都静悄悄地听”，“能把人听憨了!”原因就在于青年习近平“不说空话，不说大话”，讲得“特别实在”，说的都是老百姓想说的心里话。新时期的年轻干部要牢记总书记“空谈误国、实干兴邦”的教诲，一切从实际出发，真正选择人民群众急需的事情去干，选择打基础、利长远的事情去干，特别是要把那些已经决定了的好事实事，快干、干成、干好，真正让人民群众有实实在在的获得感。

由中国传媒大学和北京知青网合拍的纪录片《知青岁月》，昨天在北京四惠附近的国粹苑首播。这是一部北京知青口述历史的纪录片。50年来，它讲述了走过花甲的知青们的真实故事。

知青本身讲述着那些难忘的人生经历，再现着那些激情豪迈的岁月，也是深受其害、艰苦奋斗的青春岁月。没有改编、加工和演技，但真正的锤子和声音击中了观众的心，触动人心。放声大笑，感动落泪，鼓掌悲叹，知青观众的情感投入，心神倾注，与屏幕上的讲述人声情交汇了。

这次纪录片《知青岁月》首播的是《贺兰山下的记忆》，65年下到宁夏的北京知青集体口述，在贺兰山下农建13师难忘的人生历程。中国传媒大学教授郭振元任主编，北京知青千秋缘**总监任大会主持人。

播出前，宁夏知识青年代表何君燮的讲话依然豪迈而难忘：

“我们是拼搏的一代！我们是忍辱负重的一代！我们1700万知青，携手共进，就是三峡大坝！我们站起来，就是一座喜马拉雅！

片头曲是一代知青们都喜欢都唱过的《边疆处处赛江南》。这首美妙优美的歌曲承载了太多的激情，太多的苦难和艰辛，太多难忘的知青记忆！歌声一起，我的思绪就回到了那一眼望不尽头的北大荒，面对一根直通到山脚下的垄，边锄玉米地，我们边唱的就是这支歌。

屏幕上的受教育者正在听写，台下受教育者的记忆之门打开了！浸润着悲与欢，浮现着血和泪。

贺兰山下，腾格里大沙漠边就是我们的家。就在几天前，沙尘暴来袭，面对面几米都看不见人，天黑了，女孩们晚上用纱布捂住脸，睡觉时让沙子呛醒，抖纱布，一把土！被子上身上脸上全黄的！

第二天，每个知识青年的工作就是拿个脸盆，把麦田里的沙子拿起来，把埋在沙子里的麦苗露出来。

最感人的是，屏幕上一位名叫潘永仪的知识青年说，他主动参加了挖沟的劳动竞赛：

“那天早上，我提着10个馒头，一大桶水，就上阵了。到地就全脱了，只穿一条短裤叉，挖一米五深沟，有人丈量，大太阳底下，汗不停流着，铁锹不停，中午饿了，吃了5个馒头，不歇，接着挖，要创纪录。最后那天我一人挖了32方土！

”他还讲了如何教几个同伴一起跳下火车，追赶连队汽车的趣事，也令人捧腹。

还有一个割麦子的经历：“我割不快，就想镰刀一定要快！头天晚上提前磨了5把锋利的镰刀，就用草绳子系住腰，后背插上锋利的5把镰刀，一溜儿，闪闪的，第二天大猫腰割麦子，用钝了一把，一扔，再从后背抄一把，接着割！

”当年全国一千多万知青，兵团工资全国几乎一样，无非24元，25元，28元上下。

我想，当年这些吃苦拼命的事，如今似乎听着很新奇，其实很多，正如林县人民在巍巍太行山的石头上，硬是凿出来一条盘山的红旗渠！全县数以万计的农民每天提供一斤粮食和一斤半蔬菜。他们自带工具，其实食一务劳动！没有亿万人民不付出的奉献，就没有共和国工业化和现代化的原始积累！

昨天整看了一上午一下午，很真实很全貌很震撼很简洁很值得。比某些耗资上亿的烂**有意思。

参加这次知青口述历史的，有当年北京各个中学毕业生，仅仅记下了几个学校：三十中，二十七中，四十一中，十中，二十三中，五十六中，国子监中学及钢院附中等，当年来到贺兰山下战天斗地的是大批初中生也有高中生，还有个别大学生知青。最小的只有13岁。我妹妹参军时不到15岁。她带着一条红围巾！

5月29日，约200名北京老知青齐聚一堂。聚会间知青网代表，天津知青网代表，重庆知青网代表，廊坊知青网代表等上台接受了北京知青网赠送的大钟表并合影。

据说《知青岁月》计划要拍52集，期盼再现北京知青真实历史，了解在全国各地的北京知青那段难忘的辉煌，无论是黑龙江陕北山西内蒙还是新疆云南！

我喜欢这样的说法：成功是胜利者的主要成功。但没有成功的机会，也没有成功所必需的外部条件，成功仍是一句空话。然而，机会并不是平均分配给每个人，它们只是为那些有准备的人。

近日，公司党群部组织大家阅读了《***的七年知青岁月》一书，通过阅读这本书，了解了***记知青时期的艰苦生活和成长历程；同时，这本书也拉近了普通群众与大众领袖间的关系，在思想、人格等各方面为我树立了榜样。正所谓“天将降大任于斯人也，必先苦其心志，劳其筋骨，饿其体肤，空乏其身，行拂乱其所为，所以动心忍性，增益其所不能。”***记的七年知青生活就为我们践行了这条真理。

通过阅读后进行了讨论，下面谈几点感悟。

一、对学***着热爱。我印象最深的是在知识青年时期对知识的渴望和对学习的坚持。虽然当时下乡条件艰苦，但他依然保持着学***忱，“爱看书”、“好学”，是梁家河村人对***记的评价。

在他们的记忆中，***记经常在煤油灯下看“砖头一样厚的书”，有马列、有数理化。“那时候不通电，他就在煤油灯下看书，有时候吃饭也拿着书。”在庆祝**党校建校80周年大会上的讲话中，***记站在全局和战略高度提出了一个新论断：

“中国共产党人依靠学***今天，也必然要依靠学***未来”。热爱学***的初心，也是他的品质。今天，全国党员读《***谈治国理政》、学***书记新时代中国特色社会主义思想，这些著作和思想的诞生，与他在七年知青岁月中的学***是分不开的。

“所有这些转变的跨度还是相当大的，知青们面对各方面考验也是相当大的。对相当多的知青来说，特别是像***记那样当年只有十五六岁的知青来说，到农村插队所经受的磨练从心理到体力都超出了自身的承受能力。”现在的年轻人，没有了体尝下乡的机会，***记在知青岁月中，也经历了跳蚤关、饮食关、劳动关、思想观，锤炼了他坚韧不拔的性格，铸造了他自强不息、志存高远的情怀。

学会吃苦是人生的必修课。有了坚强的意志，你就会有广阔的视野和宽广的胸怀。经得起各种风险和困难的考验，才能满怀信信地朝着正确的方向前进。

二、对工作的一丝不苟。***我在基层生活和工作过。现在，作为一名国家领导人，执政理念与他的实际经验密切相关。他在基层时，作为“农民”，与百姓一起劳动，常与百姓拉家常；作为基层干部，讲话实际，做事实在，不搞假大空的东西，比如办沼气、办铁业社、代销点、缝纫社、磨坊等等，一桩桩、一件件都是为民办实事，亲力亲为，保证质量。

切实解决了老百姓的生活需求，让人民生活没有后顾之忧，从而在实践上积累了丰富的经验。

正如这本书中所说，我读了很多书，但是什么知识可以与工作和生活实践相结合。只有通过实践的检验和与群众的结合，才能把知识转化为真正的知识，这就叫实践产生真正的知识。

3、对人民群众的满心挂念。***1975年秋，季建华被推荐到清华大学，当时他在梁家河工作了近7年。在梁家河的7年，他由一名知青，历练成一位业绩突出的村支书，梁家河的一草一木，对他来说都有着不可割舍的情结。

听说***要回北京上学。队里的每个家庭都会要请他吃饭。1975年10月7日是中国共产党召回北京的日子。那天，全村人都没在山上干活。他们排起长队，把中国共产党送到10多里。有十几个人硬是步行60华里送他到县城。

***记用心对民，也赢得了民心。“为什么我的眼里常含泪水?因为我对这土地爱得深沉”，***记的“我最牵挂的还是困难群众”，感人肺腑，全心全意为人民服务的宗旨，在他身上体现得淋漓尽致。

4、不搞形式主义。正如书中的一段话“我选近平当村支书，最主要的是他做事公道、敢作敢当，能跟老百姓打成一片，群众需要什么，他就干什么。他的每一个行动和决策都非常务实，都是为了人民的利益。

为了群众的利益着想，这句话说起来简单，做起来不容易。这就要求干部有一颗真诚的心，有一定的处理问题的经验和技巧。”从中可以看出***记为老百姓办实事，他的心在老百姓中间，显示出了大国领袖的魅力。书中还提到***记帮忙做思想工作方面的几个例子，他做工作的出发点公平且平等，不出于主观情绪，也不出于成见，而是给予别人必要的尊重，从而把思想教育工作做到人心里去。

陶海粟先生回忆道“对于近平来说，为群众做实事，不是一句简单的口号，也不是被灌输的教导，而是在陕北七年里，和那些面朝黄土背朝天，挣扎着生存的普通老百姓牵手共度的时艰中，油然而生的、铸入血液中的信念”。

和老一辈革命家相比，我生活在和平发展新时代，生活条件已经得到了极大的改善，应当珍惜这样得来不易的生活，这样的生活是用革命的鲜血换来的，而青年人未来的路依然漫长，要学***书记的精神力量。

5月24日周六下午，我在天津大礼堂**了一场《北大荒知青之歌》节目。当时观众中有近百名演员是北大荒的知青，现在已经60多岁了。他们自己演自己，相当动情，相当认真，演得全是我们那些激情燃烧的岁月，屯垦戍边的生活。

当时上山下乡运动的历史背景相当复杂。我暂时不在这里看。这个由历史学家来研究评说。我只是说浩浩荡荡的上山下乡运动把我们的命运与共和国的命运紧紧地连在了一起。

党**一声号令，我们毫不犹豫，义无返顾地告别了父母，退掉了城市户口，奔赴了万里无垠的北大荒。我们没有住房。我们一行16人中有148人在半夜到达目的地。以前住在那里的罪犯醒来后，带着行李和人搬走了。现在我们有几间茅草屋。

由于房间少，我们人多，所以没有打开行李的地方，我们人挨人还得侧身躺下，连翻身都要一起行动。后来，这几间泥草房着火，连行李一起烧没了，全靠兵团战友互相帮助凑了些被褥度过了难关。好在，这次着火万幸没有人员**。

我们曾经住过帐篷，男生女生住一个帐篷里，中间用布遮挡，冬天我们都是不**服戴着棉帽子睡觉的，睡醒后，帽子周围都是冰茬。我们也住在粮仓里。高高的圆形粮仓里没有楼梯。我们爬上木跳板。我们形成一个脚心朝脚心的小圆圈，一个头部冲出的大圆圈。白天，我冒雨去割麦子。晚上，我没有地方躲起来洗衣服。我在露天放了一个大锅，烧了些热水。我们拿了一个人半盆水从头到脚洗，然后变成了半盆泥汤。

我们想找个地方洗澡，但几百英里都找不到。冬天，站在雪地里切大豆，豆荚和手套使冰雪粘在一起。它们不能被打破。他们只能象机器一样向前奔跑和切割。

记得我已经很长时间没有落过眼泪了，这场重现当年劳动生活的演出让我潸然泪下。当时由于年轻，且怀有一棵火热的心，没有觉得痛苦、难过，现在老了，心理承受能力差了，确实感到辛酸。记得给家里写信，从来没有描写过以上的情景，每封信都是说我们姐弟二人在北大荒一切都好，不要父母挂念。

但是可怜天下父母心，儿行千里母担忧，现在自己做了父母，才体会出当时父母那棵饱受煎熬的心。

黑龙江纬度在北边。我们一天亮就起床。有时是半夜两三点钟。我们开始工作了。晚上，当太阳下山，蚊子叮咬你周围吸血时，我们就完成工作。每天天黑后，连长的指导员都把我们召集到一起，向我们通报阶级斗争的新动向，带领我们私下批评学习。最遗憾的是，在一些地方，一些不守规矩的知识青年也变成了反革命分子，变成了牛棚；一些知识青年在爱情上遇到了一些小问题，得不到及时的引导和消除，丧失了生活的勇气，走上了自杀或滥杀滥伤的道路杀害无辜的人。

我们兵团的一些同志为了扑灭大兴安岭大火，保护国家财产，牺牲了宝贵的青春生命。这场演出生动地再现了各种生活场景，让我深感悲伤。

小时候，我们经历了与年轻的共和国一起成长和奋斗的过程。我们给了她汗水，青春，甚至宝贵的生命。回首往事，所有的观众都被深深**撼了，我看到了很多眼泪。

以人性反对神权，以个性解放反对禁欲主义，以理性反对蒙昧主义，拥护**集权和贤明君主，反对封建割据，这是人文主义的核心思想。在《哈姆莱特》中，人文主义理想熏陶出了一位快乐的王子。王子高度赞扬这位美人的力量、智慧、价值和尊严

“人类是一件多么了不起的杰作！多么高贵的理性！多么伟大的力量！

多么优美的仪表！多么文雅的举动！在行为上多么像一个天使！

对于这样一个人物，我认为应该用所有的贬义词来批评他的行为。然而，莎士比亚向我们展示的是一个没有丧失良知的恶棍。当大臣波洛涅斯无意中说：

“人们往往用至诚的外表和虔诚的行动，掩饰一颗魔鬼般的内心”时，坏事做尽的克劳狄斯如遭当头一棒：“啊，这句话是太真实了，它在我的良心上抽了多么重的一鞭，涂脂抹粉的娼妇的脸，还不及掩藏在虚伪的言词后面的我的行为更丑恶。难堪的重负啊！

”这是人最内心深处的良知吧，这让我想到：人之初，性本善。克劳狄斯的坏行一方面是一步错，步步错，另一方面也是封建宫廷中尔虞我诈，勾心斗角的生存环境造成的。

所以说，他不是天生的坏人。当人不得不生活在丑陋的环境中时，他唯一能做的就是好好保全自己，出淤泥而不染貌似不容易，随波逐流却轻而易举。人类创造出一个社会，而社会又创造出了许许多多的人。

这些不美好的人使社会变得不美好，而这不美好的社会又接着创造出更多不美好的人。

第三幕：克罗迪斯进一步利用哈姆莱特的恋人奥菲利娅对哈姆莱特试探的同时，哈姆莱特佯装疯癫，通过俳优所演的戏证实了克罗迪斯的恶行，并为复仇误杀了正在偷听的弄臣波格涅斯。

第四幕：克罗迪斯为除后患，迫哈姆莱特去英国，欲借英王之手将他杀死，反被哈姆莱特抓住机会，假英王之手杀死了派去监视他的朝臣，返回丹麦。

第五幕：奥菲利娅忧伤而死，其兄雷欧提斯与哈姆莱特比剑。哈姆莱特在王后误服毒酒而死、雷欧提斯当众揭露国王害人阴谋后，将国王杀死，自己也中剑而亡。

昨天参加了星际迷航的观影会，非常开心。因为是粉丝的聚会，大家对这部作品都很熟悉。他们能理解、笑或感叹许多笑点和小细节，使看电影的体验比普通剧场更愉快。

就我个人而言，我认为这一集是最好的一集。情节比较跌宕起伏，场面比较清凉，队员们得到了更多的挖掘。

最震撼我的地方有两个，一个是“蜜蜂”将企业号肢解——从ts以来，企业号从未遭到这个级别的重创，场面之惨烈始料未及，这一届编导非常敢玩。另一个是蹦迪拯救世界。自从《银河守护者》里出现了广场舞拯救世界之后，这次再创新高度。

当飞船从火海里一跃而起的时候，全场都一起**了。

然而整个故事最难尽人意的地方在于对反派的处理，他的整个动机被寥寥几句话一笔带过，以至于造成观众很难对他的遭遇有什么感觉，削弱了故事的力量。

我想如果故事事这样的话，也许会更好：

故事兵分两路：一边是ir船长前去营救不知名的遇难者，一边是克拉尔将军（反派bss）在星球上遇难。

做一个隐藏时差的把戏，让观众认为是红外想要拯救他们。两条线同时进行，给遇难组充分的折磨，婕拉的家人帮助遇难者们，却好心办坏事，让大家错过了最后一次求援的机会。因此，绝望的船员报复并杀害了婕拉一家。直到剋劳用吸星形的方式改变成原来的样子，所有的真相才被揭示出来。

这样主线融合得也更加完整，而不是现在这样”莫名出现一帮坏人，就这么把人全家杀了“的草率处理。最重要的是，这样可以使观众更加能理解反派们所遭的罪，也理解婕拉对人类的警惕，以为自己再次要被背叛的时候多么绝望，以及她选择帮助ir小队的决定才显得更加珍贵。

一个耐人寻味的镜头，是克拉尔将军在决战时看了一眼飞过的玻璃，从反光中见到了自己人类的样子。虽然只有几秒钟却感觉像三季，一瞬间五香杂陈。有趣的是我以为他接下来会忽然良心发现，牺牲自己帮助ir船长，然而居然是过去继续削他！

不过真如意料中的话，又变成了“坏人一旦改过自新就离死不远”的俗套了。反派果然不走寻常路。

头一次遇到在影片放映到片尾制作人员名单时会出现大批影迷尖叫的情况，首当其冲的就是以卷福为首的一票主演们，但是当吸引我来看这场电影最主要的两个人名字出现时现场却一片安静。没错，当damon lindelof和的名字出现在同一部影视作品时对于一个像我这样沉迷于《迷失》无法自拔的人来说吸引力是无穷的。我热烈的盼望着能够看到充斥着宗教符号的场景，始终不露真身的大反派，挖完不填的巨坑。

可惜这些标志性的符号却都没有出现。事已至此不必难过，取而代之的是一部紧张刺激重在视听享受的科幻大片。

在一个成熟的故事体系内想玩出点花样确实困难，《星际迷航》的历史追溯起来也有三十多年了，所有的主角形象早已深入人心，想弄死他们根本没戏，不管进取号被毁成什么样也不管船员们在片中被折磨得多惨到了尾，每人换上一套洗净熨平的新**，给飞船加油打蜡封釉来套全的然后继续上路。编剧写起来倒也轻松，反正路都已经铺好了想个好点的梁子一切顺其自然就全下来了。整部电影给人的感觉也是一气呵成节奏紧凑爆点不断，特别是对克林贡人的那场打戏，卷福手持长枪短炮在敌人身边闪转腾挪，风衣也随之翩翩起舞配上快速凌厉的剪辑手法让人大呼过瘾，影片两个多小时的时间就像曲速行进中的飞船眨眼的功夫就过去了。

我之前看过一条新闻，说由于公司缺乏吸引力，这部电影的票房没有达到预期的水平。不过平心而论卷福在片中的表现还是很出色，低沉而富有磁性的嗓音配上眼神中透露出的一股冰冷的狠劲将一个丧心病狂的复仇者塑造的十分出色，尤其是袭击高层会议被击落时扫过科克船长的那一眼，坐在电影院的椅子上都让我不禁倒吸一口凉气。至于飞船上的其他角色的演员感觉都时刻处在一个临界点上以应对突如其来又源源不断的转折，精彩有余但感觉缺少一些让人眼前一亮的突破性表现。

影片《星际迷航：暗黑无界》最值得称道的绝对是本片的画面，3d效果十分出色，特效精致华丽足以媲美《少年派》。未来都市的繁华景象，太空战斗后的茫茫残骸，几乎静止在宇宙中的各个行星，还有飞船追逐戏中画面的冲击力，所有的画面都是经过精雕细琢的很难找出任何瑕疵。

强烈建议**imax3d版充分享受影片的视听震撼。

影片《星际迷航：暗黑无界》看下来略感失望，不是电影不好看，而是对damon lindelof和这二位爷的失望，他们本应能带来更多的东西，云山雾罩的叙事也好还是人性伦理上更深层次的**也好，一部偏文一些的《星际迷航》也未尝不可。当然，这种科幻动作类型的电影是为了好玩，但我总觉得有点太快了。

固定化的角色加上套路化的故事让整部影片就像划过**的羽毛，舒服却轻柔的很难留下一丝印记。我真心期望这二位爷能再次碰撞出一部像《迷失》那个水平的作品。不知在拍进取号撞塌《恶魔岛》时是怎么想的。

最后，我不得不吐出我在看电影时遇到的各种奇葩。坐我旁边的两位大姐一看到卷福就不停尖叫，还时不时晃来晃去手舞足蹈，敢情当是看演唱会来了。后面几位大哥更神，片头标题一出现鼓掌，史波克一出现鼓掌，老年史波克一出现鼓掌，史波克标志性手势出现鼓掌，就连卷福被抓也要鼓掌，这么频繁的鼓掌不光影响他人观影体验，我也真心没觉得您是多喜欢多尊重这**反倒觉得您捣乱来了。

还有一个特别有趣的现象。电影开拍后，我发现前面有个秃头哥哥，我不小心看到了他头上屏幕的倒影。一部影片能有这么奇特的观影体验也实属难得。

我在这里重新摆出黑暗森林法则，想要展示三体对我的第二层震撼，理性的专制和感性的崩塌。生存是第一需求，这贯穿于三体背景的抽象层面，这体现了理性在这本书中的专制地位，因为有虚拟设定的公理存在，故事并没有太大的漏洞，甚至说故事在哪里结尾都不足为奇，在这里，人性特有的感性没有任何特权。

Chris Gardner hardly worked from everyday morning to night, but s till couldn’t make a change. At last, his wife couldn’t endure and left away, just leaving him and their five-year-old son. What’s more, he had no money to pay for the rent. They became homeless and slept in anywhere.

One sentence I always hear in this movie is “Everything will be

In the past, in my mind, he usually was the symbol of hero. However, in this movie, he became a pitiful poor man but showed us his love for his son and ambition to future. Here are some abstracts from this movie: Never had Christopher Gardner seen his father until the year when he is 28 years old, As a result, he determined to be a good father incompetently. However, just as an old saying goes, “not every thing goes well in our life”, this single father lived an unfavorable life in which he experienced the unemployment and was abandoned by his wife at the same time. If you've ever been poor, this movie may be hard to watch. It depicts poverty in America in gut wrenchingly accurate ways. I've been as poor as Chris Gardner, and, like him, I've been poor among very rich people in the Bay Area while trying to work my way up.

Chris Gardner is a loving father and failing businessman. He is chosen for a competitive internship at Dean Witter, a stock brokerage. The internship, which offers Chris a very long shot at a better life, doesn't pay any salary. Chris has to live without a salary for six months while risking just about everything for that long shot gamble.

Chris is really smart. He can solve a Rubrik's cube in minutes. But, he's poor. Poverty, like an octopus, keeps trying to suck him down to the bottom, and make him stay there.

His car is towed. His wife walks out on him, leaving him with a five year old son. He is arrested for unpaid traffic tickets. He becomes homeless. He has to rely on a homeless shelter.

All this while, he must appear for work in the morning in a suit and tie, and be ready to charm some of the wealthiest and most powerful people in the Bay Area. These people take wealth so much for granted that two of them stiff him for cab fare.

Having lived through similar experiences, I cringed throughout this movie. My stomach hurt. I winced. I cried. I hugged my knees to my chest.

The movie is very accurate, but painful to watch. I hope a lot of rich people, who think that they understand poverty, see it.

This movie will be politically controversial. First of all, it doesn't touch the race issue with a ten foot pole. For example, when Chris appears to stiff a taxi driver for fare (it was really the rich white guy who failed to pay)， the taxi driver never uses the ^v^n^v^ word. In real life, I think he probably would have.

Is the movie afraid to talk about race, or does it not want to? I don't know, but I know that some will protest the movie's not shoving race in the movie goer's face. I'm not one of those people. The movie's approach to race -- treating it as almost incidental -- worked for me. As a poor white person, I can tell you that poor white people face the same obstacles Chris did.

Second, does the movie sell the message that if you work hard, you will succeed, no matter what, and does that message tell the truth about success in America? I think that the movie is open to interpretation. Some will see it as an indictment of poverty in America. The scene of carefree rich people driving past the line to get into a homeless shelter is pretty devastating. Other people will become angry because they believe that the movie's depiction of hard work leading to rewards, in some cases, is too facile. I disagree, but that's what you'll hear.

Third, is this movie meant to chastise black men who abandon their children? Chris is a role model exactly because he moves heaven and earth to be a good father to his son. This will be debated back and forth.

The movie has a big philosophical statement to make, that has been lost on many reviewers, for example, Richard Schickel in TIME.

Chris is shown running throughout the movie. Will Smith plays Chris Gardner, a struggling sales man that is doing everything he can to keep his act together, however,lately he makes little to no money and the bills keep piling wife,tired of the situation leaves him and goes to New York to work in a everything that could go wrong does go wrong and Chris and his young son end up homeless.

Now his only hope is to succeed at a stockbroker internship at Dean Witter and be chosen to work there which would turn his life around...Based on a true story, The Pursuit of Hapyness has all the right ingredients, plus Will Smith's performance is not only perfect but probably the best of his may not choose his films very wisely but the man can definitely act,for instance, there's a very emotional scene towards the end of the movie,it lasts less then a minute but it is some of the finest acting I've seen lately. The on-screen chemistry between Will Smith and Jayden Smith is great and makes the viewer really care and root for the characters.

Overall its a great story of hope, of working hard to achieve things,of not giving up... I dare you to watch this movie and not feel like you can do more in your life, that you can and should go after your dreams and not settle for anything less.

"The Pursuit of Happyness" is a simple inspirational movie.It is not pretty actors,no fancy pictures,no touching music,but can also attract you read on law-abiding,because it has good enough story,plain but not mediocre!

Two of the film places the novel,though intentionally set,but that is not offensive,not far-fetched,pregnant with meaning.

First:When Chris (Will Smith plays) to see graffiti in the "happyness" spelling error,he said these words:There is no y in happiness,There is i.(y or Why).This line is extremely clever setting,it also aims to express through the entire film.Yes,there is no happiness in the why,the only others only their own happiness.Why blame others than their own happiness is meaningless,only rely on their own can be happy.

Second:when the movie started,Chris was in the crowd jammed the streets to push forward,in the smiling faces in only his bewildered,stood helpless with.And towards the end of the film,Chris was in the same place,look left to meet the emotional tears and applause for his rallying.In the calendar through suffering,sorrow,abandonment,abjection,helplessness,despair,after Chris with patience,hard work and attitude of never giving up in exchange for part of his life,the good old days.So in the moment through the probationary period,Chris is happy.
